How are you holding up out there? My social media has been filled with pictures of empty selves and Corona panic. I’ve been trying to stay busy working on projects and consuming things that won’t send me into an anxious spiral, like memes and tiny cooking videos. Did you know #tinycooking was a thing? I didn't! I encourage you to look it up. It is sure to bring a smile to your face. Once I stopped watching tiny cooking videos, I stumbled on some posts about mood boarding. Hollie, of @blckwhtstudios, was sharing on Instagram some of the mood boards she had created. They were beautiful, simplistic, and fun to look at. So I decided to make a few. One for myself and another for Badger State: A Wisconsin History Podcast. I’m helping the host, Peter, do some rebranding.
Heres what I came up with for mine:
My brand is meant to communicate fun, creativity, and femininity! My main brand colors can be see all throughout the board, along with my logo, profile image, and fonts.
Next, Badger State: a Wisconsin history podcast
This one was a little bit more challenging since I was creating it for Peter’s new brand. I included photos for inspiration, his current logo, and a few fonts I thought matched the feel of the brand. Going forward Badger States branding will communicate history, nature, and feature calming colors.
I had a lot of fun creating these and I’m excited to make more in the future.
